Irrigation has been a hot topic (no pun intended) the last few years—as many growers are scaling up in cultivation volume, diversity, and trying growing practices such as high tunnel, high density, and more. All this coinciding with what has been record heat and prolonged dry conditions across much of our region.

Dirt Beast Farm (Kansas City) offers a wide array of cultivation types and scales—and with their dedication in networking and education should make this hands-on training experience of some value to many of our growers in the region.

Remember—new growers (<10 years in operation eligible) are eligible for up to $500 stipend reimbursement for travel and registration for networking/training events such as this.
